 Texas Pecan Brown Ale is typically brewed using a combination of specialty malts, such as chocolate and caramel malts, which give the beer its dark brown color and rich, roasted flavor. The Texas pecans are added during the brewing process to infuse the beer with their nutty, sweet taste.

This is the 8th beer in the Bluebonnet Immortal Ten series and pays homage to Sam Dillow of Fort Worth, who played as a guard for the 1927 Baylor University men's basketball team.
