ABOUT US
Bluebonnet Beer Company was established in 2013, after nearly 10 years of dreaming. The brewery is located in Round Rock, Texas, and is run by a husband and wife team, David and Clare Hulama. Their goal is to share their flavorful, award-winning craft beers with their family, friends, and community.
David is a long-time, award-winning homebrewer who holds a degree in Biology from the University of Texas at Austin. He is also one of the few formally educated brewers in Texas, having earned the prestigious Diploma in Brewing (Dipl.Brew) accreditation from the Institute of Brewing and Distilling in London, after successfully completing the Master Brewers Program at the University of California at Davis. Clare is a sales and marketing professional, with over 20 years of experience in retail and the tech sector, where she honed her craft of relationship selling. While each has their area of expertise, they work together to brew, package, and distribute every drop of Bluebonnet beer.
Their family and friends often pitch in to run the bar, kitchen, or wash the glassware in the taproom on weekends. It truly is a family business! You can find Bluebonnet beers in finer establishments in and around the Round Rock area. If your favorite restaurant, bar, or store doesn't carry Bluebonnet, don't hesitate to ask for it!
